Are you looking for a cost-effective venue for a meeting or event? Do you regularly arrange conferences and events? Then Queen Margaret University could be the venue you’re looking for.
We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors back onto campus and to host events again at this stage in the COVID pandemic. The Events team are back in the office and looking forward to answering your queries. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
As the safety of our clients is of the utmost importance, QMU Conferences & Events has acquired the “We’re Good To Go” Industry Standard mark which means that for our conference & events business we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and processes to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
We have an extensive variety of spaces available for hire covering everything from state-of-the-art lecture theatres to clinical labs and drama studios. We deliver a great service at very competitive prices and previous clients have included the Scottish Government, East Lothian Council, the Scotsman, British Psychological Society, the British and Irish Ombudsman Association, just to name a few.
From small meetings or training workshops, up to large international conferences attracting up to 250 delegates, we offer a flexible, professional conferences and events service. Whatever your event or conference needs, you can be confident that it will be professionally handled from beginning through to end by our experienced team.
Outside term times (May, June and August), we can also offer accommodation depending on availability. From September to May, we have negotiated competitive delegate rates with local and Edinburgh hotels.
We also run our own events here at QMU. From community open days to public lectures, and from a St Andrew's Day dinner and ceilidh to exhibitions. To find out what's happening, see our event listings.
